Yesterday we visited Yellowstone National Park, the home of the famous geyser, Old Faithful. Though there was less wildlife than there was in Custer State Park, it was still a sight to behold. We first went to West Thumb after entering from the East Entrance, and then made our way to Old Faithful. The sight of clouds reflecting on the crystal blue water and the smell made my heart do a few loops. It may sound weird, but I’m a big fan of the smells that I took in whilst visiting.

We found a sign at the beginning of a trail that we found rather funny. The message behind it is serious, but the images included caused a chorus of laughter among our family.

We waited for ten minutes at Old Faithful before it actually spewed to great fountain it held inside.

That was most of what we saw at Yellowstone. If we would have desired to see more, a longer trip would be necessary. For now, we drove on to Seattle, where I will post the next blog!
