Badlands National Park

Today is a late post of what happened yesterday and I will be posting another two blogs. Sorry for the late update, at the end of yesterday we all just wanted to sleep and were completely wiped out. The Badlands were wonderful, and there was a short fossil trail in which we could educate ourselves on the history of ancient creatures living in the area.

The views from the sides of the viewpoints were absolutely fantastic, and the trail we hiked was beautiful. The heat, however, did cause rather quick dehydration, but we got back to the RV just before it would be too late to continue forward.

After we finished up with our drive around, we checked into a motel. Chris and I had our first buffalo, which is literally incorrect, burgers for dinner! Now I’m off to write the post on Custer State Park! Until next time!
