Hey there everybody! I apologize for not keeping up with the blog, there are excuses that I could use, but instead I’ll just go for an apology. I have to catch up on this post and one other, and possibly later today another post. The only reason I say possibly is because of the varying internet connection we’ve had thus far. I do hope that you’re enjoying to blog so far, and I will do my best to continue to catch up.
Anyways, onto the topic of the Museum of the Rockies! The museum houses a large collection of fossils. It is also the home of some turtles and snakes. We managed to see a planetarium show about Dark Matter. There were fully put together models of a triceratops and it’s baby, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex. There was a mammoth skull in the next room over. I highly suggest that if you’re somewhere in the area, you check out the museum.

I’ll try to update again on Yellowstone National Park, but no promises! The inter webs are still being all wonky.
If you’re going in/out of Yellowstone through the North entrance you might want to check out the Boiling River. It’s not a major tourist stop but there is parking and then a short hike to a river that is incredibly hot and incredibly cold at the same time. Very memorable.
