Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

For our last stop on our road trip, we went to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. We finished up in Louisville and then drove to the asylum in West Virginia. Horror and ghosts really aren’t my strong suit, so I began to get nervous about what’s the tour would be like. We took a ghost tour from 10:30 to 12:30 AM, and then went to sleep after. My father drove for a good amount of time so that we would reach the RV Rental place by noon. The asylum was a slight bit creepy and seemed easy to get lost in. We were led in groups, our group being Group 4, through the building. Our guide said things about the spirits in the past, but there wasn’t much paranormal activity that we experienced. I think everyone was on alert from the stories that we’d heard, which may have changed footsteps from us into a freak down the hallway. I have some pictures, but I did not take many as I was focused on the guide and checking everything out for myself.

Unfortunately, this concludes the blog and our trip. If you have questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer! I hope you all are doing well during these times, and I can’t wait to hear or see you all!
